A MESSAGE FROM MS. PASLOSKI
Hello students, parents and tutors! Welcome to our page for the 2018-19 school year!
The goal of this page is to help us all in the learning process through the next year. I will endeavor to post pertinent information related to current larger assignments, reminders about special events, pictures, important resources to help you, and other material related to our class. See the Class Blog for updates and links to this information. The last year in elementary school is a big one! Having spent many years teaching high-school, in Grade 7 we spend a lot of time developing organization and communication skills, working in groups, and getting used to having more personal responsibility, to better prepare students to be successful in high-school. A little note about me: I'm a lifelong Yukoner who loves the outdoors, sports, travelling, my dogs Rollo and Bruzer, and helping out in the community through various volunteer initiatives. I look forward to getting to know you all more! All the best, Erin Pasloski (Ms. P) |
HOW TO SUCCEED IN THIS CLASS
To learn the most, and do the best you can, here is what you need to do:
- Come to class often. - Come prepared with ALL the materials you'll need for the lesson. -Listen attentively - Keep an open mind and participate the best you can every day. -Be kind to yourself, and to others. Respect goes a LONG way. - Write your homework and important dates in your day planner/agenda. - Ask for work a few days before you know you'll be away, and check your absent folder when you return from being away. Remember, even if you are 'excused' from class, you are not 'excused' from the learning which took place those days. - Have fun!! :) |
