We have some fun coming up next week! Students are asked to bring a clean glass jar (no labels) to class on Monday for an art project. A medium size jar (jam, pickles, etc) is preferable.
We are also having a grade 4-7 dance and costume contest in the afternoon of the 31st! Dress to impress in your Halloween costume finest!

Grade 6 needed to do a trade so we are swimming Wednesday morning. Students NEED a signed form to go on the bus, so please sent it so they can come with the class. The Terry Fox run is also scheduled for 1:30pm Wednesday afternoon, so keep fundraising!
The first dance for grade 7 is happening this Friday Sept 21st at Selkirk, from 7-10pm. Permission forms and $5 fee is due by Friday at lunch. For pick up, parents will have to come inside to confirm with the chaperone (Mr. Hupe) that they are collecting their child(ren).
The first volleyball tournament of the year has once again arrived! Please look at the information and schedule that was sent home with players.
To reiterate, PARENTS are responsible for getting players to, and from, the CGC. Girls need to be there by 9am, boys by 9:30am, and everyone must be picked up at 2:30pm at the latest. Gym clothes, water, lunch/snacks are needed. The grade 7's are heading to the pool on Tues Sept 11th. Money and forms must be back by Monday 10th at the latest
Info letters and fundraising envelopes made their way home today! This is an AMAZING fundraiser for HFES, AND it promotes buying local, and healthy eating. Wins all around! Get out there and sell some veggies Hurricanes!
Forms are due back Oct 4. Grade 7 is leading the first celebration of the year! The theme is "We are light for the world" and it starts at 2pm in the gym. See you there!
